Rapper/R&B singing artist K.Vocalz, who was born in the city of Houston Tx, and raised in the streets of South Park aka “SouthBank Tx”, first gained attention for his work in the streets for his 2016 Rap single “What Chu Mean” which In the video featured Former Dancer and love and hip hop tv personality Jhonni Blaze. After the video was released, the two would form a friendship in which when Jhonni Blaze was scheduled to perform at the GoDj awards in Houston Tx in 2017, she would invite K.Vocalz out to watch her performance and in that inspired him to want to really learn the business once he was introduced to the likes of Houston greats like Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Paul Wall and BeatKing. Later the two would also work together as Jhonni Blaze would feature K.Volcalz on the remix of her T.A (Terry Allen) produced single “Speechless” which would later be featured on K.Vocalz upcoming Album “J.A.I” (Just An Illusion) that’s set to be released summer 2020.
It was also in 2016 when K.Vocalz would team up with his longtime friend and mentor, former Bad Boy Recording Artist Brian Angel, who was once Signed to P.Diddy and apart of the Platinum Selling R&B Group Day26 .
The two would work on a very prolific and heart felt R&B ballad entitled “Let Me Know” which describes the fallen relationship of a man and woman, but from a males prospective pleading to his lady that he is willing to save the relationship from the un sure state that it is currently in with lines like “oh am I trying girl that’s for sure, but if you want me please let me know” and “ this bs you put me through, I swear to god I wanna up and leave, but then I think about what I would loose, at one point we both believed”.
It was then In January 2020, that K.Vocalz would then team up with Dj Jaybone, a Highly much respected Dj in the streets of Houston Tx that has worked with many artist to include Sauce Walka and Sosaman of TSF and Megan Thee Stallion.
